Facet Solutions Establishes Corporate Headquarters and Expands
Executive Team
Hopkinton, MA (October 1st, 2008) – Based on the clinical
success of its facet replacement technology, Facet Solutions, Inc.
today announced that the company has expanded its executive management
team and established its corporate headquarters in Hopkinton, MA. “The
move to Massachusetts allows us to consolidate our operations in
one location,” explained CEO Geoff Pardo, “It also
gives us access to a wealth of talent in the medical device and
spine industry.”
Joining Facet Solutions’ executive team as Vice President
of Clinical Trial Operations is Susan Hedden. “Susan brings
tremendous expertise in spine, and in clinical trial management
to our company,” said Geoff Pardo, President and CEO. “We
are fortunate to be attracting top-level talent and this will allow
us to continue effectively executing our clinical study.” Ms.
Hedden comes to Facet Solutions from Applied Spine where she was
the General Manager of Clinical Operations.
Facet Solutions, Inc. has developed the ACADIA™ Facet
Replacement System (ACADIA™) to provide patients with lumbar
spinal stenosis and facet degeneration a motion preserving
alternative
to lumbar
spinal fusion. The Acadia™ procedure includes replacement
of the diseased facet joint with an anatomic implant and traditional
pedicle screws that restore the natural motion, stability,
and balance to the lumbar spine.
