This position is responsible for master planning and scheduling
all procurement for small orthopedic manufacturer. Preferred
candidate has strong interpersonal skills, startup work ethic,
high degree of organization, experience with ERP systems,
and experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced team. |

- Master plan and schedule all procurement for small orthopedic
manufacturer.
- Develop supply chain and supply chain relationships.
- Procure
materials and services with the best combination of price,
quality, and service related to the end user's
requirements.
- Implement the Quality System for the purchasing
function.
- Follow ISO and cGMP guidelines, and SOPs for purchasing
including material specifications, vendor performance,
and corrective
and preventive actions.
- Work with other departments
to coordinate resolution of product issues.
- Ship and receive
product.

- 5+ years experience in a medical device purchasing role.
- Direct orthopaedic experience preferred.
- BS/BA preferred
- APICS certification or training preferred
- Proficient in
Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- QuickBooks, Access, and Inventory
Systems.
